Victoria Martin
After graduating in 1991 Victoria moved to Los Angeles where she accepted
various commissions and exhibited in several galleries.
Since returning to the
UK in 1994 she has been successfully trading, supported by the Prince's Youth
Business Trust winning the Prince's Trust focal point award for innovation,
professional design and marketing excellence.
In 1996 Victoria moved to rural
Oxfordshire to complete a one year residentship at Bishopsland; and then went
on to run a Contemporary Craft Gallery in Wiltshire in the early part of 1997
until 2002
Victoria then took a workshop in Walford Mill Craft Centre in Dorset where she
returned to making full time, developing several new ranges of work.
In 2011 Victoria moved to Spetisbury in Dorset where she is now working from
home continually striving to produce new and exciting jewellery working on
making pieces that have a personnel connection with the wearer.
Hoping to
produce jewellery that instils warmth and love into our world.
Victoria's work includes both batch produced and custom made jewellery, using
silver and crystals.
Another range uses words to touch and connect with the wearer. Inspired by
flora and fauna, each piece of work is as in nature, completely unique.
Victoria has worked with flax & finch to produce their signature necklace for
their charity of choice 'Lets do it anyway' and looks forward to working on more
pieces for them in the future.
